On friendly space to be in school, example being a Library and how furniture, decorations etc matter. And how could you do the same with other spaces e.g. Math classroom ...

Thinking that our Scout Den needs more nice things on display.

Related to #EducationIsPerformance (not really IS performance but #TeacherPerformanceHelpsEducation is maybe less catchy? TPHE ?) i.e. if the educator can perform and engage students it helps get things started. If the space is right and you have good materials and tools then it helps learning to happen.

Goran brought power drill to Scouts yesterday :-) We dug out spars, wood, sticks, saws ..

3 groups working on making better 1. work-tops/tables, 2. sink/basin wash stands, 3. plate rack.

upon entering, there was a large projector screen with a fireplace scene and music playing, twinkle lights, soft seating, a variety of book generes, and places for collaboration. the space was curated with intention and it mattered to the students.
