cycle over to Ballycorus and Barnaslingan steep hills! And Barnaslingan O run. MORE steep hills!

Cycled over to Ballycorus. A bungee came loose and snarled up in my chain and rear casette! OW. Tricky to get out.
Steep uphill to ballycorus. Follow tracks until hit forest gate and field gate with private signs. Can walk up tracks to Lead mines chimney here without going on private land. On bike down hill and across steep uphill again Taylors lane and Barnaslingan lane to Barnaslingan.

Run in Barnaslingan ran around in loops trying to find control 2.
Steep downhill to control 3.
Lots of grey squirrels in woods here.
All the way back steep uphill to control points 4 and 5.
A bit down to 6 and 7 then back uphill to 8 but not as steep as before.
Control 8 post missing ?
Although lots of furniture at that location.
Finish up down and flat across.

I had a fun run around Barnaslingan yesterday. Steep hills! :) I think control 8 on advanced course, post 87 is missing. (Post 87 also is control 6 on short course, not used on medium course). There is a bench, wheel o, map, other posts at this spot. I think the post should have been somewhere near the bench but couldn't find it. I could have missed it maybe but I'm pretty sure I was at the right place.

All other posts on advanced and other courses are there ok. In very good condition actually.

Barnaslingan O run. Long course. post 8 87 missing?

Google Album:

Barnaslingan O long 4.43km

Cycle home:
Steeper downhills and slower uphill drags.
Draft from golden ball to stepaside golf. Yeek!

We had family BBQ later.
And bit of form filling Kate scholarship stuff.
