Dishwasher debugging - it's broken :( - fills ok but doesn't do the enthusiastic splashing of water

BOSCH dishwasher about 23 years old.

It fills with water fine but at the spashing water stage it struggles, makes a funny noise, water doesn't splash enthusiastically around.

Usual things checked and not a problem, arms clear.

Extra checks - it's draining ok and filling. Jam door open and observe => the pump to spray water around is quite weak. Something stuck in it or pump failing ? Water gently fountains out of bottom arm but it's too weak to make arm rotate.

I take it apart a bit and out and clean loads of gunge from under and around it.

BOSCH - SGS4012GB/14 type S10R1B

Weak spray, just a slow fountain in bottom arm.

So, well, can't find our problem on the internet, it's a different PUMP blocked or pump needs replacing.

UPDATE Thur 16 April got new dishwasher 2nd hand.

Fionn & James collect. Lift it out to car, drain out tiny bit of water. In car lying down mostly propped up door-side up. Not really wedged, heavy enough to stay in place.

Home in car, no leaks.

Family dinner by Kate yummy. Melon for starters. Followed by burritos with beans/chilli, rice, chicken & onion, carrot & broccoli shredded steamed, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, red onions. Also egg and seaweed nori rolls.

Lifted in new dishwasher with Daire . . after the dish washing from dinner is done!

Disconnected old - electric plug, waste water - clean out some gunge, water in - on/off valve doesn't go to off so leak into sink for a bit.

Connect new one fine. Tight fit. It makes some noise.

UPDATE Fri 17 April 17:30 dishwasher on.

New dishwasher making believable noises now.

Old dishwasher bits screw back on. Torx. Haul out to hall. Ready for outside, draining & recycling tomorrow.
